3.49am
Just got back from meeting my darlings. Surprisingly, we met till quite late today. Haha
I guess Jas will be able to sleep soundly tonight. She SHOULD be feeling tired by now
Jas didn't had the car today, and thank god dad came back frm the wedding dinner on time, and i had the car.
Picked Janey up and then it was off to Jas's place. We had already thought of a place to go before hand and naturally we drove off to East Coast's Subway!
I need to say something - THE SERVICE & THE ATTITUDE OF THE STAFF THERE SUKS!
I'm trying to be racist here, but that bladdi malay butch never fails to get us on our nerves!
She doesn't give you the eye contact when she answers your questions! The way she answers is sibei attitude
The quality of the food there also suks. Is me, or is it just me....our sandwich doesn't turn out as appealing as it should be lor. Jane's meatball sandwich looks erm...scattered, and my beef sandwich looked so bladdi pathetic
Sigh, wat to do? thats the only subway nearby our area that opens till 1am. Fuck the pple there. =]
Found a table with benches and we sat there for our meal + talking cock session.
Poor Jas, got interrogated by Janey again. Hahahha
Too many skeletons hiding in her closet. Hehe
Was supposed to have our MJ session at Gene's place after that, but he was nt done with his bangala job and therefore cancelled. Send my girls home after that and Mr Foo came to pick me from my house.
Back to the wkends...
Saturday was my crayfish day. Mr Foo went to tapao his fave hokkien mee from AMK, and i stayed home to cook the crayfish.
Fried the crayfish with sambal chilli and woolala, heres the final end result:
Pic abit blur eh..
It was quite nice...managed to finished most of the crayfish. Thank god his frens came over to eat the balanced. We were too full to finish all 12.
Feedback from Mr Foo and frends - Not bad, quite nice. Hurhur
Jas and Glenn came and find me and we went to the HK cafe at Heartland mall for coffee.
Sunday - JB day!
Its been a looonnngggg time since i've went in JB sia.
Drove 2 cars in and we met at Holiday Plaza for our 1st destination. City Square was next. Manged to bought 2 lingerie set, 2 tops and 1 pants.
Not forgetting DVDs! Hehehe
Dinner was seafood at our fave kampong resturant.
We ordered like kings sia.
1) 4 huge crabs - 2 fried with chilli and 2 fried with salted egg
2) 2 Lobsters - steamed with XO sauce
3) fried sambal kangkong
4) 2 plates of gong-gong

6) 8 huge clams fried with garlic - 1 for each
7) Drunken prawns with soup
8) 2 types of fish - 1 deep fried with sauce / 1 steamed
9) 10 buns - for dipping the chilli crab
Ok, i think thats all. Thats our meal for 8 pple. Haha
Recently, i've got the cravings for Kimchi. Shiok!
Bought this bottle of kimchi frm coldstorage last week, and i've been eating it when i'm hungry at night. The coldstorage kimchi taste ok, but i've tasted nicer ones before
Was with Jane at parkway last week, and we went to the korean shop at the basement. We found out that the shop sells kimchi and we opened the fridge to take a look. Once we opened the door, the aroma of the kimchi welcomed us. Wow! Nice smelling lor
Jane bought 1 to try few days ago, and she said it was good!
Haha, i'm gona get my ass down to parkway real soon to get myself 1 packet too!
If i was not wrong, i've read somewhere that kimchi is good for the body. Good for clearing the body system.
Thats y Jas keeps saying:" the different stages of rotting veg"
Kaoz
Heres what i found on the internet-
The organic acids including lactic acid in kimchi are mainly formed by the conversion of sugars in the raw materials during fermentation. The physiological properties of the microorganisms involved in kimchi fermentation and the content of fermentable sugars in the raw materials affect the production of organic acids quantitatively and qualitatively. The organic acids and viable lactic acid bacteria are found to have good effects on human intestinal microflora.
Dietary fiber as well as ascorbic acid, carotene, the extracts of red pepper and the extracts of garlic used as kimchi ingredients is assumed to suppress the formation of carcinogenic or mutagenic compounds, and to inhibit mutagenicities induced by several carcinogens/mutagens. Also dietary fiber in kimchi has an effect on preventing constipation and controlling intestinal microflora.
Mineral contents of kimchi also vary depending on the recipe and the type. But, in general, calcium and phosphorus are major minerals in kimchi. Lipid content of kimchi is very low, so it is considered as a low caloric food.
Kimchi is made of various vegetables and contains a high concentration of dietary fiber, while being low in calories. It also provides up to 80% of the daily required amount of ascorbic acid and carotene.[8] Most types of kimchi contain common ingredients like onions, garlic and peppers all of which have well-known health benefits. The vegetables being made into kimchi also contribute to the overall nutritional value. Kimchi is rich in vitamin A, thiamine (B1), riboflavin (B2), calcium and iron,[9][10] and contains a number of lactic acid bacteria. In 2000, a novel bacteriocin-producing lactic acid bacterium (strain MT-1077T) was isolated from Kimchi and was named Lactobacillus kimchi.[11] [12] [13][14]
Kimchi has a reputation of being a healthy food. The US magazine Health named kimchi in its list of top five "World's Healthiest Foods" for being rich in vitamins, aiding digestion, and even possibly retarding cancer growth
But i still think that its better not to over eat sumth.
Was looking at the mirror just now, and the girl in the reflection feels sad. She told me:
"I guess good things will always come to an end. Though i really do hope that it could somehow remain the same, but its obvious that the full-stop has appeared.
Wherever i go or do never fails to bring back memories that i will never wana forget.
From the very 1st day, everything is still so fresh in my mind. Every single little thing just stays with me esp your smile.
We have to get on with our own lives, at least i know u want to.
I just need some time, u were never mine from the start."
Till then.
