過大礼 - 18th July 2010

Guo Da li Day!

On called a cab on sunday morning to arrive at Fatty's hse at 10am, and its back to my own house for the preparation for our Guo Da Li.
Went to have breakfast with dad & mum, and after where we went to this po piah stall along Joo Chiat to get Po Piah.
My Aunties and uncles were coming over to my house to enjoy the Guo Da Li together with us.

Fatty came around 1230pm together with his aunty. Kenneth and Domanic went downstairs to help carry the 28 boxes of cakes, pig trotter cans, basket, 四點金, oranges etc
Since it was dad & mum's first time marrying daugher, both of them were kang cheong and pacing up and down while packing the "returning gifts"

After Fatty & his aunty left, we started our Po Piah session and then rushed over to Grandpa's house to send the cakes & invitation card.

Since morning, i was feeling dizzy.
But due to having a busy afternoon, i wasn't really affected till i finally couldnt take it anymore.
I felt so damn uneasy and nauseas.
My relatives were occupied with mahjong and i decided to take a nap first.

Once i lay down, i felt as if my whole room was spinning. I hate that shitty feeling!
Slept for around 2hrs (kept waking up time to time), and my cousin came in to wake me up for dinner.
I woke up and felt like vomitting. Walked to my parent's room and vomited.
Came out and i told my mum i felt unwell.
Tried to eat abit of beef horfun and the puking feeling came again
Ran to the toliet and puked another time.
My parents and relatives asked wat happened to me and i told them must be due to the lack of sleep i had for the past few days.

When i was around 9pm, my aunty decided to leave for home and i followed her car back to Fatty's house.
His house was also having a po piah party with all relatives there.
When i got home, his mum asked if i had taken dinner. I told her:" Yup, ate abit at home...dont feel realli well, feeling giddy and i vomitted just now."

Her reply was short and super direct (with that happy look on her face) :" 有了阿？"
I stunned there for a few seconds and laugh while replying:" 沒有，不可能啦！"
I just ended my period lor
HAHHAHAHA

Received a sweet sms frm my cousin this evening. She received my wedding invitation card and said that it was very elegant and nice!
I told her:" of coz nice lah, i print every guest names on the inserts and envelope 1 by 1 lor!"
The envelopes were also specially bought from the supplier costing @ 30cents each.

Happy to receive good comments on the cards! My hard work has paid off! Haha

The carpenter finally came today to install my new dressing table and shelves for the walk in wardrobe. I was looking forward to re-vamp our room, but the workers got the wrong instructions from their superior!
My dressing table was supposed to have a light installed , and there is supposed to be a wire being pulled behind the dressing table for my hair dryer to be used there.
End up, no light and no wire being done.

Fatty's mum's cupboard also salah! She customized a new glass cupboard just to put all her bags, and the cupboard also turned out wrong!
Faint! End up we couldnt do anything at all!

BUT, i'm very satisfied with the design of my dressing table lah! The mirror is soo big and makes our room looks slightly bigger too!

I hope the carpenter incharged of our hse comes back frm his business trip soon and settle our furnitures asap!
I wana pack my clothes and makeup accessories properly lor!

Its 1245am
I better sleep soon. Gota wakeup at 10am later, gona go Arab street with Aunty Dolly and Fatty's mum later to see cloth.
